Gregory NP

The Bungles was the last of our key destinations for this trip, and with a sick car, we headed for home. We decided to stick to the more well used bitumen on the way home so it was back to Kununurra for a mini restock, the east towards Katherine.

We overnighted in Gregory NP on the Victoria River.

We got a nice site...

...and headed down to the river for sunset drinks. On the way we came across corellas at a hollow nest in a boab tree...

..then a bowerbird bower, with the male dancing out the front. Quite a lovely experience.

Sunset at the river was also quite lovely, with a number of fishermen, but the only fish seen were the bait.
