But also went to a local restaurant for a light lunch!
And had a quick look around the city
Next stop was Reunion Island, where we also opted for the beach, at St Gilles Les Bains
And ate at a local creperie
The town wasn't much
But there was an impressive Marina
The logistics worked well.....getting back on board
We had lots of formal nights, this was us dressed to the nines for the Captains cocktail party
Next stop Mauritius. We had a stroll around the capital Port Louis. The streets around the markets were hectic
So we spent most of our time in the waterfront complex
The Main Street was well laid out...
..and again we had a local restaurant lunch....
...before returning to the ship at the port with its impressive backdrop
After that it was 7 days sail to Perth, with a novo virus issue that was inconvenient but well managed. We had a night with Nick and Christe at North Fremantle before flying home to Sydney.
