We had a free day in Kathmandu while Satish organised trekking visas and flights. We started with a long breakfast at the hotel...

It was then off to the shops, for maps of the walk and gifts. We called in at the trendy OR2K for coffee, then had momos for lunch at Yangling Tibetan Restaurant.

The shopping find was Folk Nepal, fixed price and a Fair Trade member, and all made in Nepal

With 3 floors of goods, it didn't take long to get everything needed.
