We managed a few forays into nearby villages, including Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, one of “the most beautiful villages of France” and the site of the filming of the movie Chocolat
We also had lunch here, including of course a chocolat macarron
We also visited Époisses, famous for its chalet..
...and it’s cheese, of which we partook in full
We went to nearby Pont de Lac for a mini bushwalk with the pram
..and sighting lots of European red slugs..
..and photogenic fungus
