This morning we arrived at Banda Neira, the original home of nutmeg
We had a welcome from the locals in traditional kora kora canoes as we entered the harbour
First off was a town tour after a transfer ashore in the Xplorer barges
The local museum had displays focussing on the cruelty of the Dutch and their Japanese mercenaries
We also visited a cinnamon and nutmeg farm, cutting cinnamon from a tree
