Crossing the Timor Sea

 Today we headed north across the Timor Sea heading for Yamdena Island in the Indonesian archipelago..

…on amazingly calm seas

Nothing much to be seen except for the occasional plastic bottle and scooting flying fish..

but then along came a red foot booby perched on some floating polystyrene and an unphotographed red tailed tropic bird 

And, despite the high 30s outdoor temperatures we found it quite pleasant to sit and read in the cool breeze near the side of the vessel on the upper deck

The evening kicked off with the captains welcoming drinks

Then towards sunset pods of dolphins appeared off the stern 

Followed by a beautiful sunset
