Today a drive westwards to Salerno, the last leg for our little Panda.
We made good time, stopping at a plate factory in Salerno on the way to get seconds Solimene dinner plates to match ours at home. 5€ each - $50 each in Australia
We passed through some nice country en route, high cliffs and hilltop villages
After dropping the car it was a short walk to the ferry to Amalfi
With some nice scenery along the way - leaving Salerno
Arriving Amalfi town
It was then just a short walk to Hotel Aurora.
The marketing shot ...

Terrace view
Into Amalfi town - heaving with tourists and total tourist shops, bars and restaurants..
...but wait, a church!
And some nice ceramic pictures
Lemons, lemons, lemons...
Welcome Prosecco on the hotel terrace
Fading light on the Amalfi hills
Dinner at Pizzeria Donna Stella. A share table with a brother and sister from New York and still a 45 minute wait. They were still queued up at 10:30 pm when we left. What a business!
Late night limoncellos on our terrace - we are hooked!
