We arrived in Paris at 6:30 am, a chilly overcast 17 degrees. We headed to the city and dropped our bags at our hotel before heading out for pastries and coffee at our old haunts around marché Aligre.
We then wandered off to Bastille markets for what else, more food. Flat peaches….

We then wandered down to the Seine via L’Arsenal - Notre Dame still under renovation
The afternoon walk was interrupted by rain so there was nothing else to be done than find a cafe for a drink.
