Waiting..eating..walking

Wally still hanging out so we decided to make the most of it and head out for a nice lunch. We picked the well rated Table restaurant, a 10 minute walk away.

We went for the 29 € set meal. Firstly a puréed carrot soup...

...then poached fish with finger lime and veg..

..finishing with an amazingly tender infused pear with caramel/vanilla ice cream

Afternoon was shopping and/or a riverside walk to Bercy Village, a shopping area in renovated wine cellars

Then through Parc de Bercy

And past some modern Easter Island figures

Over the Place Simone de Bauvier, with views to Pont de Bercy..

....along the riverbank, past some colourful graffiti...

...and Viaduct de Austerlitz..

...and clever street art

We dined at home, Julie throwing down a formidable challenge to the Paris cafes with an amazing tomato and goats cheese tart and an endive and grapefruit salad.
