Back to Paris

Pippa asked us to pick up some baby things she had bought on-line from a lady in Montmatre, so we headed off, looking very local with our shopping trolley, and even found a way to negotiate the Montmatre steps.

After the pickup, we headed higher to Sacre Couer..

...and had crepes and cider for lunch

Heading back home we had a good view of Sacre Couer and a carousel.

In the evening we headed down to the Seine for a picnic

We were in one of the "dance bays" and ours was merengue, (pronounced marengey) from the Dominican Republic

We were invited to join in, but the locals were too cool/good

In the next bay was swing dancing

We then strolled a little way along the river, taking advantage of the evening light to get a few photos

And Arsenal looked especially lovely in the evening light too
