The drive, though short was quite something, incredibly narrow and completely treed over in places.
The walk was quite enclosed at the start..
..then opening up to fields along a river..
..and buzzards circling overhead.
The signage for the track, The Ant Trail, changing in case walkers were illiterate.
We hit a bit of a traffic jam at one stage...
..but eventually rounded to mob in open country.
Lunch was in Powerstock...
...at the recommended Three Horseshoes Inn
After lunch we headed to the beach at Burton Bradstock
After a quick swim, we walked along the beach to admire the cliffline..
..before looping back inland, via the "gate with no fence"
For dinner we headed down to West Bay to the Riverside Restaurant..
..leaving just after sunset
And that's our last day in Dorset, tomorrow we head to Swindon for a night before flying back to Paris

Was the water temperature pleasant enough for swimming?
