Nosy Tanikiley

The small island of Nosi Tanikiley, off Nosy Be, is "the" place to snorkel when on Nosy Be. We went with Guy and Anika and their son Matisse in their boat for the day, taking a picnic lunch.

We had a walk to the top of the island for the view..

..and came across a group of brown lemurs.

The water was "gin" clear, with lots of coral, turtles and fish....a close encounter..

..an orbicular baitfish..

..and plenty of anenome fish...a new variety maybe.

Even Matisse got in on the act.
