This is the view down Rue Saint Louis from our 4th floor window....and yes we can nearly lean over and shake hands with our neighbours across the road.
We are 50 metres from the Berthillon ice cream shop, which has a continual queue..
..and right across from our hotel door is this fromagerie...yummy.
We only had time for a short stroll before a thunderstorm sent us scurrying back to the hotel. Just a quick photo at the back of Notre Dame...
..and over the Seine to the Hotel de Ville.
We took out our umbrellas and met two of the daughters and one of the partners of our French travelling friends for dinner at an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, no photo!!
