With the Tibet program now at an end we flew with Air China from Lhasa to Kathmandu. A 1 1/2 hour flight, though with circling on Kathmandu 2 hrs. We had some excellent views of the high Himalayas en route, including Everest (again)
In Katmandu it was back to the Hotel Tibet, and an upgrade to. 5 th Floor room with a fruit bowl due to the issues last time around.
Some last minute shopping and it was off to Australia with Malaysian Airlines
