Day 13 Back to Dunedin

A sea day today as we return to Dunedin where we will disembark at 0900 tomorrow

Nothing much to report. A day of lectures, recaps, charades, sing-a-longs and farewells. Although we had a lunch treat- steak tartare

Dunedin pilot boarding

Entering Dunedin harbour …

..the lighthouse again…

…and the royal albatross viewing centre with a large breeding colony of shags below

We had a black and grey Hectors dolphin come up near the ship, and although we didn’t get a photo, Google provided one very similar to what we saw.

Escargot for dinner

Sunset at the bunkering berth in Dunedin

And finally, some statistics for the trip, 147 passengers from15 countries and 157 crew plus…
