WOMAD - Day 2 - sunshine

What a difference a day makes! Sunshine predicted all day and 21 deg temp. The crowds were out and most of the mud already dried up when we arrived at midday.

The whole atmosphere had changed, the festival was in full swing...

...and a blaze of colour..

..including the people.

All the venues were packed, and there were some excellent acts..

There were plenty of groovers...

...and people to watch.

We maintained a more moderate tone.

Although, with steady drinking, there were several visits to these very orderly queues, we were in Britain after all!

There were lots of different food choices...this one we passed on..

..others were more tempting.

We left about 9:30 pm, with the crowds still bustling..

...and the campground relatively quiet.
