With the ship waiting for parts they arranged a day of alternate activities for us. For the morning it was a boat trip across the bay to a whale area.
It turned out to be quite choppy and windy so we just went to the back of one island…
….where there was a minke whale skeleton
The way back was with the wind behind so not so cold and wet…
In the afternoon the boys did an 8 km hike into the mountains behind Nuuk (the black dotted line)

Good news on our return. The parts for the boat had arrived and the divers were in the water fitting them. Sailing again later tonight.
