Then a final pose..
..and off to the hospital - by Metro of course
We decided to head out for lunch, to a well rated local cafe, L'Encrier. We arrived at 12:30 only to find it full. They did have tables on the street, and although it was only 14 degrees, as we were well rugged up we decided to do it.
Luckily the sun came out, and the food, though not gourmet, was very good. Roquefort stuffed pear salad and stuffed artichokes with girolles to start..
..duck and an excellent steak for mains..
We were in touch with Adam over lunch and got the good news that they had come home quickly to get their bags and we're heading back to the hospital for the induction. With that great news (at last), we could settle in comfortably for dessert. Profiteroles filled with ice cream topped with chocolate sauce and pistachio creme brûlée.
