Last few days in Paris

Albert visited for a day so we headed out with him and Mel on her last day. We strolled along the river..

..and up through the passageways passing the old Le Procope restaurant..

..to the Luxembourg Gardens..

..to Les Papilles restaurant for lunch

The homeward journey was via the 5th arrondissement and the old streets around Rue Mouffetard..

..and the Arena de Letuce

We hit another brocante street market on Saturday morning

Lots of fascinating stuff

and a new hat for Pippa

We had a quick lunch at a brasserie, for Bob, hamburger with foie gras, a first

And croque chevre for Julie

Gill and Tony came over from England for a few days, so there were lots of outings with them

We even came across a religious procession outside Notre Dame

We revisited the brocante market

Discovered more photogenic buildings...

....street artists...

...and colourful posters.

We all met up at Pottoka for lunch

Then walked home via the Tour..

...and the river past Pont d'Alma...

...with wonderful evening light

On other outings we managed coffee in the Luxemburg Gardens..

..and strolled the shops along Rue de Rennes

Freddie of course, continued to pose in new outfits
