We all therefore had a very quiet morning. Early afternoon Pip and Adam headed off to the hospital again...
..and we decided to go for a walk along the river. It was a beautiful sunny autumn day, 17 degrees, but lovely in the sun. There were plenty of locals out enjoying the sun as well...
..including at this makeshift bar with tables and chairs made from pallets..
..and there were even free table soccer games set up for all comers.
We soon found ourselves at Notre Dame, and, since we hadn't been in for some time and there was no queue, we wandered in.
We were quite taken by the series of chronological depictions of the building of the cathedral. Interestingly it was started in 1167, and this was where it was up to in 1175
Amazingly it took about 80 years to get to what was considered completion at that time.
We arrived home late afternoon, just before Pip and Adam. The contractions had all but ceased. The assessment was to go home, and, unless things progress, come back Friday for another assessment. Regardless, the baby will be induced on Saturday. Below is a the heart rate and contraction monitor output at the hospital. All looked fine, the hump in the printout is a contraction.
