We returned to Le Pario for lunch with friend Maggie. This is rapidly becoming one of our absolute favourites. A 25 € three course lunch. Scallops to start...
...then duck..
..then a too complicated dessert to understand.
We also gave Will's a second go. We had been for dinner, which was good but a bit pricey, but the advice was to go for lunch. 21 € for two mini appetisers and a main or 30 € with added dessert.
Mains below, teriyaki chicken with asparagus, beetroot and blackberries, Freddie having lunch with us!
Pretty amazing desserts, firstly figs with yoghurt cake etc etc, then a layer cake with chocolate, praline, buerre salé, and licorice ice ream
Lastly (for now), we returned to one of our long term favourites Au Bon Acceuil. Now 36 € for three courses and coffee, so getting up there.
All good, although the pork belly main we all chose wasn't our favourite as they don't do it with crisp crackling. Anyway, beautiful squid and mushrooms with an escargot butter foam to start..
