..and even thorn bush fences.
..and a newer style area with a nice school, which we visited.
It was then on to a bigger Air Safari 12 seater Cesna Caravan for the direct flight to Camp Okavango.
The Okavango Delta was 50 minutes flight to the west..
...and Camp Okavango on the mid- northern edge.
We had excellent views flying in..
..to the lodge right amongst the delta swamps and channels.
The resort itself was very highly rated by previous guests "like stepping into a Conde Nast magazine" was one comment and it didn't disappoint. It is only 2 years old and meticulously maintained..
..with 2 lounges, and an open bar, " if it is unattended just help yourself "
The room? - well what can we say...
..even a double shower!
Lots of flowers on arrival..
...and this takes pointed toilet paper to a new level!..
..and a nice vanity display.
Beautifully made walkways linked the 12 only villas to the main area...
...and very importantly, the pool.
There was plenty of wildlife to be seen from the resort, lots of squirrels scampering about..
