Another super hot day predicted so we planned ona visit to Ostuni in the morning and pool time in the afternoon. But first breakfast.
Then a stroll through the orchard revealed this trullo in original condition. It was te original family home and is about 100 years old.
We drove to Ostuni old town, stopping for the classic photo en route
We wandered around the old town...
..again amazing churches and street scenes (and tourists)..
An old man with an Apé selling fruit
The Cathedral
Opulent inside as expected

The panoramic view from the edge of town - olive trees, olive trees, and more olive trees
We even found a ceramic of a recently departed dear friend
We had planned to have lunch in Ostuni, but that pool at our Trulli beckoned, so we bought some bread, porcetta and Gorgonzola and headed home. Then to the garden for arugula, tomatoes, lettuce, onion, basil, figs, zucchini and apricots...
Oh that pool!
We had been offered the use of the BBQ as well so decided to take up that offer as well for dinner. Bruschetta to start using garlic and tomatoes from the garden
BBQing our eat plus zucchini from the garden
Cheers, plus the owner dropped by with some plums he had just picked from the orchard
Caramelising some figs from the garden
Then to cap it off a beautiful sunset
